This set of 6 metal drill bits is ideal for efficient drilling of hard metals and technical steels such as stainless steel. To avoid premature wear of the metal drill, we recommend pre-drilling, i.e. drilling an initial small diameter hole before using the desired final diameter. The larger the hole diameter, the larger the number of pre-drilled holes (e.g. 3 / 6 / 9 / 12).
- Thanks to its cobalt-filled HSS steel coating, this DEXTER PRO range of drills has a 5-fold increased tool life on hard materials compared to the metal DEXTER range. Its head has a 135° angle, allowing it to drill hard materials more efficiently. In addition, the triangular shank (6 mm diameter) prevents the drill from rotating in the chuck and ensures better user comfort.
