Add Some Fun To Your Home Workspace

Add Some Fun To Your Home Workspace

A playful, colourful collection built around a cartoon character brings a lift of energy to desks, stools and storage. For small Maltese apartments and study corners, a splash of bold pattern can make a compact workspace feel much more inviting.

A collaboration that brings a smile to any room

This collection grew out of a partnership between a well known creative director and an illustrator known for a cheerful cartoon character. The simple, rounded shapes of that character appear across the whole range, paired with a distinctive blue running through each piece. The result is a set of desks, stools, textiles and storage pieces that feel light hearted without being childish, making them equally suited to a teenager's study corner or a small home office tucked into a living room or landing.

Pattern inspired by a Parisian park

The collection's name translates roughly as 'renew', and that sense of freshness runs through its prints and colour choices. The signature pattern draws on a well known Parisian garden, known for its flowers, monuments and candyfloss sellers, translated into a print that feels upbeat rather than literal. On soft pencil cases, a tablet case and other accessories, the pattern adds personality to a desk without overwhelming the rest of the room, which suits the compact studies and shared bedrooms common in Maltese homes.

A stool and lamp designed with flat packing in mind

Behind the playful look sits a practical design process. The illustrator has described being drawn into the challenge of reworking a table lamp so it could be broken down and packed flat, once the idea was explained to him by the design team. That same thinking shaped a two tier wooden trolley on castors and a stool with a coloured leg, both easy to carry up stairs or manoeuvre through narrow doorways, a real advantage in older Maltese townhouses and maisonettes with tight stairwells.

Small touches that add personality

A collection like this proves that even small, everyday details can change the mood of a room. Alongside the furniture, a themed roll of decorative tape lets anyone add a playful finish to boxes, folders or plain walls without any great effort. The illustrator has spoken about wanting each piece to carry his style while staying discreet enough to fit comfortably into many different interiors, from a bright orange study nook to a softer, pastel bedroom corner.
