At Maltashopper, we specialise in providing top-quality shopping and logistics solutions to our customers. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a friendly, highly organised, and proactive Customer Care Representative to support our customers and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Your role

As a Customer Care Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers—answering questions, solving issues, coordinating orders, and ensuring an exceptional experience from start to finish. You will also meet clients in our Santa Venera office to plan and create IKEA kitchen, wardrobe and home-space designs using the IKEA Planner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person—professionally and with empathy.
  • Provide end-to-end support on orders, deliveries, returns, and product information.
  • Coordinate schedules, bookings, and follow-ups with logistics and warehouse teams.
  • Maintain accurate records, notes, and updates in our systems/CRM.
  • Prepare basic reports and assist with data entry as needed.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and cross-team collaboration.
  • Meet clients in our office and assist with designing IKEA kitchens, wardrobes, and other home spaces using the IKEA Planner (measurements, layouts, options).

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Preferred: previous experience in a customer care or administrative role
✔️ Strong organizational and multitasking skills

✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
✔️ Maltese and Italian will be considered a plus
✔️ Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web browsing
✔️ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
✔️ A proactive, problem-solving and customer-centric mindset

VACANCY: DELIVERY PERSON

Maltashopper is seeking a capable professional to join our team as a full time Delivery Person. In this role, you will be part of our Delivery Team that is responsible for delivering customer orders. You must have a clean driver's license in order to drive the van from our warehouse to various locations. While it is not required, previous experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate must, have clean police conduct, hold a valid clean driver's license, be willing to work and be a team player. If you have a C/C1 driver's license it would be a big advantage. Likewise, if you are knowledgeable in the assembly of furniture it would be a huge asset.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver items from our warehouse to any addresses in Malta and Gozo
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Ability to follow directions
• Must know how to read and write
• You must know how to speak English
• The ability to understand and speak Maltese will be an asset.
• Be healthy enough to carry furniture

VACANCY : WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Job Opportunity:

Warehouse ManagerAre you an experienced Warehouse Manager with a knack for organization and leadership? We’re looking for a motivated individual to oversee and streamline our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage all warehouse activities, including stock levels, paperwork, van loading, and truck unloading.
  • Supervise customer pickups to ensure a smooth, positive experience.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a related role.
  • Minimum of a secondary level education.
  • Full freedom of movement (ability to work in Malta).
  • Valid driving licence cat.B
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Strong command of English; Maltese is a plus.
  • Organised, proactive, and a natural team leader.
  • Clean police conduct certificate.
