The sensor is located on the side of the mixer, to prevent it from being activated accidentally while you work in the kitchen.
The water supply stops automatically after 10 seconds if the sensor does not detect any movement, so you don't risk wasting this precious resource.
This mixer is equipped with both a sensor and a manual lever: the latter is practical when you need to fill a pot or other large container with water.
The sensor cleaning function deactivates the mixer for 2 minutes to allow you to clean it without water being dispensed.
