In this third Wingspan expansion, new bird species are introduced to habitats by exploring the intriguing and magnificent breeds of Asia. Wingspan Asia is: – an expansion with new birds of Asia and new bonus cards – an expansion to play up to 6-7 players (Flock mode) – an independent game to play in 1-2 players (Duet mode). If you play the Duet mode, instead of using the game's objective tiles, you will use particular objective tiles. In addition, you will use the Duet board: every time you play a bird card, you will place a Duet token on the Duet board on the space that depicts a match with the bird (nest, food, wingspan) in addition to the habitat. These counters will be used to achieve the objectives. If, on the other hand, you play with flock mode, you will have to use two decks of bird cards: those from the base game and those from any expansion (if you play with Oceania cards, use the sides of the appropriate player boards and nectar dice). To speed up the game, two players will play at the same time. The players will be divided into two groups, each with its own manger and deck of cards. An indicator will mark which players are playing at the same time. Wingspan Asia is compatible with Wingspan Oceania.
