War Chest is an original war game that uses the bag building mechanic in fact, you will have to build your reserve of available units and actions by initially drafting a series of tokens that will be placed in a reserve bag from which you will have to draw 3 tokens each turn. These tokens, in addition to representing the various units that you can deploy during the game, will also indicate the actions you can carry out. You will therefore have to carefully plan your moves according to the tokens drawn in the round and those that you will be able to draw in future rounds in order to build a strategy that is impossible for your opponent to counter. The object of the game is to place all of your control markers. Each round, players draw 3 tokens from their bag and take turns playing them one at a time. The token played can be: 1. placed on the board to create the unit or reinforce one already placed 2. discarded face down in order to take a new token, pass or become the first player 3. discarded face up to move an equal token on the board, place a control marker, or to attack an opponent's token. The tokens correspond to cards with particular characteristics that allow specific actions. The regulation starts from an explanation for two-player games, but there are rules for playing in four players (two teams of two players each), advanced rules and, finally, army composition proposals to reproduce famous battles.
