Pathfinder: The Jade Regent

In the vast and mysterious woods of the Forest of Spirits, long ago, the gods created the kami, the protective spirits. But they shared their spirit realm with the oni of the Five Storms, creatures who longed to wear humanoid flesh, feed on the triumphs of humans, and command their empire: the Minkai. Divine laws, however, prevented it. When the vast empire of Lung Wa in Tian Xia collapsed, ushering in the Age of Lost Omens, the Five Storms saw their chance to eliminate any family claiming the throne. All, except one who fled beyond the Crown of the World, hid in Kalsgard, changed name and life. Sandpoint was his final resting place. After a recent attack on the city unleashed by a group of goblins allied with a repudiated (and deceased) family member that caused the death of the family's progenitor, only one woman remained, the only legitimate heir of the race to be able to claim the Throne of Jade! Will the PCs succeed in crowning their fate or will they have to succumb to the overwhelming forces of the spirits that dominate the far eastern world? The Jade Ruler Saga begins with a goblin raid and takes players on an epic journey through Varisia, the lands of the Linnorm Kings, the icy Crown of the World to reach the far eastern lands of Minkai facing oni, ninjas, ravenous storms and finally the Jade Regent and his powerful allies in the Imperial Palace of Kasai.
