Flight Thruster

The Flight Thruster, a new exciting and curious Ugears model. Loaded with clever mechanics and loads of fun, this portable hand catapult is a mechanical launcher for light airplane models, three of which are included in the kit. The one-of-a-kind design is a pure work of imagination that resulted in a look reminiscent of something from outer space: a starship, a shuttle or a blaster pistol from a science fiction movie. The completely sci-fi design is implemented in the iconic Steampunk Ugears skeleton style, which allows you to look inside the working mechanism that you can assemble with your own hands. The launcher features a rubber band motor that provides the tension needed to power your aircraft when released. The trigger that activates the mechanism is equipped with a safety catch. The tension, and therefore the distance that the aircraft will cover, is controlled by a winding handle. The range of this fantastic new ballistic model can exceed 30 meters, depending on the bullets used and how tight the crank is. A special mount makes the crank part of the platform for the aircraft to be launched. The kit consists of 198 parts and includes a glider and two paper airplanes that you can use with your Flight Thruster, along with the planes you can design yourself.
