In Azul you will have the opportunity to build beautiful mosaics of ceramic tiles of various colors and patterns. Originally introduced by the Moors, azulejos were blue and white ceramic tiles that were later used by the Portuguese after King Manuel I's visit to the Alhambra palace in southern Spain. You will find yourself in the shoes of an expert mosaic artist just commissioned by the Portuguese king himself to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora with these magnificent tiles. During the game you will have to carefully select the various tiles that will pass through your hands, in order to build a splendid mosaic on your personal board. The victory points awarded at the end of the game will in fact be distributed according to the position of the various tiles on the players' boards. You can also collect additional points for specific patterns and you will be penalized for wasted tiles. The best artist will be proclaimed according to the points collected, what are you waiting for to test your decorative skills?
