7 Wonders is a 2/7-player strategic card game centered around a draft * mechanic that aims to build the most powerful ancient civilization of all. (* Draft = Mechanics in which each player has a hand of cards, chooses one and passes the rest to whoever sits next to him. This is done a certain number of times and then each plays with the final hand drawn.) You are the leader of one of the seven most illustrious cities of Antiquity. Develop your civilization in the military, scientific, cultural and economic fields, but pay attention to the progress of your neighbors who share the same ambitions as you! There are many ways to earn victory points in 7 Wonders: by building your own Wonder's stadiums, developing science areas, building civilian buildings, winning military conflicts, assembling guilds, trading and amassing wealth. To carry out all these actions, players need resources, produced every turn by the cards and must therefore rely not only on themselves, but also on the resources produced by their neighbors! A game takes place in 3 rounds, called Epochs. For each Age, each player is dealt 7 face down cards. At each turn, players will simultaneously choose a card according to their strategy, play it and pass the remaining hand to their neighbor. The cards represent the different Buildings they can build: resource production, civil, commercial, military, scientific and guilds. At the end of each Age, players will face each other in war with their two neighbors. Once the 3 Epochs are concluded, players will count the victory points provided by their City, Wonder, Military Effectiveness and Treasure. The player with the highest score wins the game.
