In Namiji you are fishermen from Japan of yesteryear, intent on sailing south of the Japanese archipelago, a few kilometers from the famous Tokaido road. Can you have fruitful day at sea to win the game? You will have the opportunity to contemplate magnificent marine species, to fish with a rod or a net to fill your baskets with colorful fish, and to attract succulent crustaceans into your traps. You can stop to upgrade your fishing gear, not forgetting the offerings to the gods to fulfill their wishes. Namiji has similar gameplay to Tokaido. The action spaces are arranged on the track where the players will move from turn to turn. The player furthest behind starts – as in Tokaido – and will have to choose whether to advance slowly in order to get more turns, or travel faster to beat the other players, occupying the desired action spaces. What will your strategy be?
