Evergreen is a strategic game where the goal is to develop a lush ecosystem. You will plant sprouts, grow trees and place other natural elements on your planet, trying to make it the greenest and most fertile of all! Each player has a board with his planet divided into zones (biomes) on which he will have to plant sprouts to make them grow into trees, first small and then large. The game develops in four seasons, each with a decreasing number of rounds. Each round begins with a draft phase, in which players choose a biome card that indicates the area in which to perform the plant and/or grow action in the next phase. Additionally, the card shows a power to be applied anywhere on the planet that provides further opportunities for growth or other improvements. The biome cards not chosen by the players are moved to the fertility area and are equally important: they determine the fertility of each biome for the final score, guiding the choice on where it is most advantageous to grow the largest trees. When a season ends, you score the points provided by the trees that get the sunlight and those of the largest forest (nearby trees) on your planet.
